‘Enai Noki Paayum Thota’: A film kept alive for two and half years, thanks to Darbuka Siva’s ‘Maruvaarthai Pesathey’

The million dollar question surrounding the release date of Dhanush-starrer ‘Enai Noki Paayum Thota’ has finally been answered. After over three years since the film’s launch, the Dhanush–Gautham Vasudev Menon project will see the light of day on 6th September 2019.

The production work for this GVM directorial venture began on March 2016 and after much delay the film was completed in September last year. It’s not often that one remembers a film that has been in the making for over three years, but with ‘Enai Noki Paayum Thota’ it’s quite the opposite.

If GVM has to be thankful to anyone from the film crew, it definitely has to be the music composer of ‘Enai Noki Paayum Thota’. Music director Darbuka Siva’s songs has kept the movie related buzz alive ever since the first single ‘Maruvaarthai Pesathey’ released.

GVM’s initial gamble of not revealing the music directors name (Mr.X) of ‘ENPT’ paid him back in a big way as it kept the people guessing and interested in the project. On 10th February 2017, the first track (Maruvaarthai Pesathey) was released.

The song got stupendous response from the fans, who were now more interested to know who the music director was. Following the success of ‘Maruvaarthai Pesathey’, the makers released the second song from the album – ‘Naan Pizhaippeno’.

In October 2017, it was finally revealed that Darbuka Siva was indeed Mr.X. This was later followed by the release of ‘Maruvaarthai Pesathey’ restrung version and ‘Visiri’ at the end of the year.

Now, after almost 20 months the makers have finally decided to announce the release date of the film along with an impressive trailer. Check out the trailer of ‘ENPT’ below,
